ALKI-A-THON is May 26 (12:30-2:00 PM)


Pledge packets were sent home in kid mail on May 11th.  Please check those backpacks if you haven’t seen it yet!! Sign up and create your pledge page at Online pledges or donations can be made safely and securely using paypal, credit or debit cards. Your pledge packet has full details and simple instructions. The Alki-A-Thon can’t happen without our awesome volunteers!  You can volunteer for 30 minutes or for the whole day and there is a huge range of options to fit just about anybody’s schedule.  Please go to and sign up early to have the most options!  Examples – set up the running course on the field, bring a class treat, cut up oranges, or help your student’s teacher get kids out onto the course.  For any questions on volunteering, please contact Julie Madden,

Each grade will have a canopy tent (ideally 10×10) as a meeting place and place to rest for the kids.  If you have one of these types of tents and would be willing to lend it for the day, please sign up on line or contact Julie Madden.   We also need volunteers dedicated to getting these tents set up after drop off.  Tents would need to be delivered to the school prior to 10am.  We need a total of about 8 tents.
