For these experiments, you will need:
PRIZES: Science if fun, but so is winning stuff! 10 lucky winners will receive prize packs for participating in our live virtual event or sharing photos of your “at your own pace” at-home experiences. To qualify, send your photos to email@example.com before May 21, 2021. Students are not required in pictures to qualify for prize packs.
Thank you to Pegasus Books, The Works Seattle, Math 4 Love, Tiny Science and Seattle Aquarium!
HOW-TO VIDEO: How-to videos of Alki students conducting each experiment will be made available after the live event.
What if I am out of town? Materials bags will be available at the school office until May 21st. If you plan to be out of town longer than that, you can still participate in these fun family-friendly experiments with somewhat common household items. Here are the materials needed and instructions for each experiment.
