Hi there! I’m a mom of two bright, energetic girls — Ellie (4th grade) and Hannah (1st grade). I’m excited to serve as secretary this year. As a former middle school teacher, I’ve been on both sides of the classroom (and the parent-teacher conference table!), so I understand the joys and challenges of creating a thriving school community. My goal is to support our students, teachers, and families in making this year the best it can be.

Professionally, I now work as a business strategist, helping small business owners thrive doing what they love, while reclaiming time for what matters most. But my favorite roles will always be mom, dance-party instigator, and proud Midwest-to-PNW transplant. The Neon Dance Party at Alki is still one of my favorite memories — I’ll never say no to dancing!

I’m honored to contribute my perspective as both a parent and educator in this role. Let’s make it a fantastic year together!

I’m the proud mom of Isla in 5th grade, and Rose in 1st grade. This is my first year on the Alki PTA Board, serving as Treasurer, and I bring 20 years of corporate accounting experience to the role. While I’ve had a rewarding professional career, I love being a mom and supporting my daughters as they navigate the world around them. I currently run my own accounting consulting business, and I look forward to using my skills to support our school community.  

I joined the PTA Board to help carry on the tradition of a strong, connected PTA and community for all of our kids and families. As Treasurer, I’m especially excited to bring more visibility to the PTA’s budgets and spending, so our community feels informed and engaged.

One of my most unforgettable Alki memories is from 2020, when my oldest started remote Kindergarten and the community came together to adapt and support one another through a challenging time. My favorite volunteer experiences include the Alki Auction, the Alki-A-Thon, and helping out at recess — nothing beats spending time with the kids!
