Soaring Seagull Card turn in on Wednesday, October 7th

Alki Elementary is celebrating National Walk to School Day on Wednesday, October 7, and we want EVERY student to join in! Join a walking school bus, ride the school bus or your bike, or walk to school from wherever you park in the neighborhood!

Participate in the Soaring Seagull Challenge! Starting now, students can earn stamps on their Soaring Seagull Card for every day they walk, bike, ride the bus, park & walk, or roll to school. The card is coming home in blue folders this week - or download it from our linktree.

Fill it out, bring it back on October 7, and help unlock new recess equipment for the whole school - sponsored by the Alki PTA! Each card returned adds more gear! Whether you circled 1 seagull or all 10, your card counts!

More details on walking school buses are coming soon. In the meantime, mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 7, and start filling in those seagulls!
