Free Lunch for All at Alki

Free lunch for all students at Alki Elementary 12:00 – 1:00 PM Monday-Friday.

Look for the school bus parked in front of the school for an SPS employee to be handing out free lunch all week!

 

 

The district provides student meals by bus Monday through Friday throughout Seattle.  Alki Elementary is at the end of the line for the Madison-3408 bus that delivers meals throughout Alki.  The bus times will change to accommodate our new bell schedule, but in the meantime, SPS has provided this mobile unit to bring lunches to students in our community.

Tips:

  • Students do not need to be present.
  • You can pick up lunches for more than one day at a time
  • We need students to participate in this program to ensure that Alki remains a meal distribution site.

 

Madison Middle School is also meal distribution site, from 11:15AM-1:15PM Monday-Friday

  • Monday through Friday FareStart is providing reheatable prepared meals available for all families to pick up at these school sites.
  • Meal support for weekends, provided by the Backpack Brigade and Food For Schools, provides non-perishable food items such as canned goods, snacks, juice, etc., is available for all families in need to pick up on Fridays.
