To prevent an outbreak of communicable diseases, it is important for every student to have up-to-date immunizations or exemption registered at the school. When vaccine compliance is above 95% in the school, the risk of an outbreak is significantly lowered.

By Washington State Law, students without complete (or in-progress on a schedule) immunization /exemption are to be excluded until documentation is up-to-date.

Our compliance at Alki is currently 96%.  Parents whose children are not compliant have been notified. If your child is excluded, they cannot return to school until proper documentation of vaccination/exemption is received.  The State report goes in on November 1, so please get your updated vaccination/exemption records in to the school by October 31.
