Wellness Wednesday: Chakra Meditation for Adults

A Special Wellness Wednesday (with guest host, Maari Falsetto) created for:

Caregivers, 

Educators, 

All of those tending to the needs of our children

Join us this Wednesday (11/18) at 5pm for a very special Wellness Wednesday as we honor and care for you, the caregiver. This session is devoted to all adults who are working tirelessly to support their families and students. A 30 minute chakra meditation lead by local Shaman, Maari Falsetto of Inner Alchemy, will be provided to help ground and nourish parents and families energetically.

This is an incredible opportunity for self-care. Moms, Dads, Teachers, Grandparents – we are looking at you! Clear your schedule, find something or someone to occupy your littles for this half hour, and join us in this moment of healing.

Maari Falsetto is a Seattle native who began her career in the coffee industry.  She helped start The Seattle Coffee Company in London and after 10 years of living and traveling abroad, she returned home to raise her kids.  Her daughter attended kindergarten at  Alki Elementary with the infamous Mrs Gosma.

It was in the process of raising her kids that Maari was inspired to open a community based business that would be ‘a sanctuary for spiritual adventure’!  Inner Alchemy opened in 2017 right on 35th and Webster.  With over 20 healing specialists available for private sessions, there was also a calendar full of events, workshops and gatherings.  Our monthly Soul Spas  and Art Walks were very popular brought the community together.  Crystal Alchemy is the retail shop that offered many small local business items as well as high quality crystals, rocks and gems.  The store is now located in her home with private shopping appointments available.  With COVID and the bridge closure, it was not feasible to maintain such a large physical space.  The location on 35th closed when the lease expired on June 1, 2020.

Maari continues to offer private Shamanic Reiki and Spiritual Companionship sessions from her home studio (a few blocks from Alki school) or online.  Inner Alchemy’s Kundalini Yoga has continued online as well as other events.  We all look forward to the day when we can once again gather in person.

During such an extraordinary time as 2020, self care is the highest priority.  Our teachers and parents are doing even more than in pre-COVID times.  Maari is looking forward to offering the Alki Elementary community a chakra mediation with the intention of providing an experience of embodied peace.
