As we begin the new year and our children and teachers return to remote learning, many of us are hopeful for the possibilities of 2021. The Alki PTA Family and Engagement Committee is pleased to welcome Emergency Medicine Physician & Alki parent, Arthur Sullivan, MD and Alki School Nurse, Alison Angell, MSN, RN as our January First Friday speakers.
Dr. Sullivan will explain the science behind the Covid-19 vaccines including how they work, side effects, and what to expect when you receive your vaccination.
This is also a great opportunity for parents to have your Covid-19 questions answered by a local frontline worker.
Alki School Nurse Alison Angell will share any available updates from the Washington Department of Health and SPS on how the Covid-19 vaccine may impact schools.
